Wowfly Glasses Free 3D TV Telecasts Live Proceedings At The Great Hall Of The People

The main attraction at the annual National People’s Congress (NPC) and Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference event was the airing of the action on a Wowfly glasses-free 3D TV of 55 inch dimension. The event was held at the Great Hall of the People. People were able to see the entire action without requiring to wear special glasses to experience the 3D effect.

There was another 42 inch 3D screen set up in the lobby and one more at the live broadcast room where the images also were being streamed live, making it the first time such a broadcast has ever taken place.

The sets have been manufactured by Zhejiang Wowfly Industrial Co., Ltd. the company CEO mentioned about the huge research that the company had conducted to come out with this digital marvel. The result would be available for markets in China, Southeast Asia, Europe and America.

The company has some other 3D enabled gadgets as well in the pipeline, said Wowfly CEO. There are 3D tablet devices, computers and mobile phones that the company is also working on. The sets would all have 2D to 3D conversion capability and the company also had ability to shoot in 3D.

After Avatar in 3D was released, 3D technology picked up in china and there have been TV channels that are dedicated to 3D programs. What is almost a surety is that glasses free TV sets would further increase the popularity of this type of TV.
