Super-thin LG LW980T Cinema 3D TV features Nano Full LED tech

The LW980T series of 3D TV from LG has recently been showcased at the IFA event held in Berlin.
The TV sets are both 3D as well as SmartTV as they have the capability to connect to BBC iPlayer, Facebook and Twitter. The TV sets come in screen size options of 47 and 55 inch and would be based on the passive technology that the LG Cinema 3D models are based on.
The screen technology that has been used for this series of 3D TVs is of a more advanced nature named ‘Nano Full Led technology.’ This makes for smoother pictures that are also a lot more bright and clear. The 3D TV itself has comes out to be a lot slimmer than the previous models with the width being just 25.7 mm.
Given these very advanced technological features that the 3D TV is laced with, LG has quite aptly labeled it as “the ultimate TV and entertainment hub for the entire family.”
These apart, there are a lot of other goodies too that come bundled with the 3D TV itself. These include as many as seven pairs of 3D glasses along with the LG’s Magic remote control. Then of course the 3D TV also features integrated Wi-Fi connectivity.
The TV set also supports 2D to 3D conversion along with DivX Plus / HD playback, Smart Energy Saving Plus and features TruMotion 400Hz / MCI 1000. Plus, the TV includes two USB ports along with 4 HDMI out ports as well.
The company has also launched a HX906TX 3D 9.1 speaker system which would match the TV set very well. Price details of the set though have not yet been declared.
