One of the latest development in 3D is the UI crafted by MobiWorld Media that would be up on display at the Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona. The uniqueness of this technology is that the 3D content can be delivered to different types of media and that includes desktop, TV or tablets. It would therefore become quite easy for users to have just one box to which they could connect any of their computing, viewing or mobile devices and watch 3D to heart’s content. The technology is named SPB TV solution and caters for three types of screens for streaming of 3D content.

The technology allows for processing multiple video streams simultaneously and then processing the output such that it is optimal for the particular screen for which the display is intended. When streaming across network, the bitrates is adjusted by the system, and this gives a smooth output of the content to the viewer. The other important feature of this new technology is that the content is centrally controlled, which gives better delivery process of the data.

More news on this technology would be known after the Barcelona event.
