Now Facebook In 3D On LG 3D TV
Perfect Fools is an agency based in Amsterdam, and working on 3D technology and its use for delivering content in 3D. They have created an app that is available via LG 3D Studio which allows for Facebook newsfeed appearing in stereoscopic 3D.
The team tried out all aspects and features of the Facebook newsfeeds, like their navigation method, depth of the post, movement of the post and even how the posts are displayed in the forum. The app is available at LG 3D Studio which is a standalone website.
A film documenting the reaction of the Amsterdam community is also available. LG is looking for feedback after people view the film and app. Perfect Fools strategic head, Michael Aneto says “We chose Facebook for the first experiment to make a statement with something universal, loved and fun. The point of the experiments is to stimulate conversation and imagination so eventually when the target audience think of 3D, they think LG.”
