Nissho of Japan introduces new 52-inch glasses-free 3D TV

There is a new 3D TV on the block, one that also boasts of glasses free viewing of the 3D content. The 3D TV with 52 inch of display has been launched by Nissho Electronic which is a company based in Japan. The set is quite impressive given all the features that it encompasses, something that also extends to the overall looks and exterior of the 3D TV as well.

The display area measure 52 inch of LCD goodness capable of rendering full 1080p of 3D vision. For converting 2D images to 3D in real time the TV incorporates Dimenco’s 3D technology.

Other features of the set are its 2000:1 contrast ratio and 700 nits of brightness count as well as 8 ms response time. Refresh rate of the set is 60 Hz. The set is however currently only available in Japan and the cost is ¥1.7 million.

The set is expensive but given the features that it packs this one is expected to make waves and yet be in the consumers focus.
