Among a lot of digital goodies that will be there vying for attention at the upcoming IFA event in Berlin, one thing to look forward to is the 3D TV that Hisense is coming up with. The speciality of the 3D TV will be that it won’t require the wearing of special glasses to experience the 3D effect and for this, the Chinese manufacturer has teamed up with US based Stream TV Networks for the requisite glasses free display technology.

What we would be greeted with (among others) is a 3D TV with a 42 inch display with wide viewing angles and distortion free 3D display. The SeeCube media box that the 3D TV comes included with takes care of real time conversion of 2D to 3D. Price and availability hasn’t been disclosed as yet though we expect to have a clearer picture of everything during the show. Stream TV Networks CEO Mathu Rajan has however stated his company is aiming at bringing 3D TV to the masses.
