When it comes to sleek designed TV sets, Philips is taking the lead. Take for instance its latest release, a 3D TV of 6900 series which looks stunning with its 1.2 mm thin bezel. The frame is “zero border” and the make is of brushed anodized aluminum. The set comes with a stand that is also light yet sturdy.

Philips has its flagship smart TV model as the 9000 series though the present 3D TV belonging to 6900 series also has most of the features of the 9000 line of sets. It has for example a two player full screen mode which means two gamers wearing 3D glasses would see different full screen displays of their part of the game. The 3D TV is also Smart in that it can connect to the internet.

The 6900 sets have LED edge lit panels and for ambient lighting a two sided lighting system. One can get these sets in the European and Russian market. Price of the set in the Asian market has not yet been announced.
