New 3D-Capable Regza HDTVs from Toshiba

As part of the REGZA Series, Toshiba has just launched some more HDTV which are all 3D capable and would also be able to convert 2D images to 3D. There would be the 46 and 55 inch models named Cell Regza Slim and then there would be their flagship model of 55 inch dimensions. From specifications point of view, all of them would be 1,000 nits of brightness and a 9,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio having 240 Hz refresh rate. They would also be coming with a massive 3 TB HDD storage space as well. Extra and added features are the standard WiFi with DLNA support and provision for adding a further eight hard drives if considered essential. For costs the 55X2 would be priced at ¥1,000,000 which converts to $11,430 USD and the slim model of 46 inch for ¥600,000 or $6,858 USD. The 55 inch slim model is priced at ¥700,000 or $8,000 USD.
That’s not all from Toshiba as the company also has on offer the Regza F1 series models, two of them being of 46 and 55 inch size and another three in the ZG1 series of 42, 47 and 55 inch models. All these are LED backlight models and full HD with 1,920 x 1,080 resolution. Refresh rates for these models are 240 Hz and the models feature WiFi with DLNA support, four HDMI ports and dynamic contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1. These models also have provisions for additional storage devices. Cost of the F1 series is ¥328,800 or $3,760 USD and ¥428,500 or $4,900 USD for the 46 and 55 inch respectively and expected to be available next month that is August. October is the expected time when the ZG1 series would be available and would cost ¥279,800 or $3,200 USD, ¥350,000 or $4,000 USD, and ¥446,000 or $5,100 USD for the 42, 47 and 55 inch models respectively.
