LG launches 2012 Cinema 3D HDTVs with just 1mm Frames
LG one of the leading Brands today unveiled its all new range of smart television sets at the Consumer Electronics Show that is being held at the Las Vegas, Nevada. And this time the sets are getting even slimmer. It seems as if the firm has put its television sets into some strict fitness regime.
The inclusion of the new Cinema Screen Design is what has made all the difference. What’s more, it will also be made a part of LG’s Cinema 3D models coming this year. However, while the bezel has come down to just 1 mm in width, virtually making it all screen, the slimness has not been obtained at the cost of quality of the images. On the other hand this design of the screen would provide the viewer with an enchanting and thrilling 3D viewing experience.
For the gamers an additional feature has also been added. It is the Dual play feature. Just like the Simulview feature on Sony’s PlayStation-branded 3D display it would allow its owners to view different full images at the same time unlike the split screen images. Special dual play glasses that are compatible with the set would enable to user to utilize this feature.
LG has also equipped its virgin product with the 3D Sound Zooming feature. The firm boasts that this feature would enable their product to match audio output with the location and movement of the various on-screen objects.
With the inclusion of the LG’s Smart TV platform and a wide range of applications the viewers would now be able to probe into number of movies, TVs shows, musical selections, photos; social networking features, and much more just by switching their TV set on. The 3D viewers are going to love this as the once scanty 3D content has been multiplying at an alarming rate. However almost all the television sets that are to be released in the year 2012, have been equipped with the 2D-to-3D conversion ability.
CEO of LG Home Entertainment Company Havis Kwon who is also the president of the firm has revealed that the firm is striving hard to bring up more and more new features. LG would also launch three pairs of new 3D glasses that would be compatible with the 3D TVs by the first quarter of 2012. They are clip-on, the Alain Mikli-designed F360, and the lighter F310.
