LG includes 3D goodies to promote its 3D TVs

There are some new stuff that LG is giving out to its consumers along with its 3D TVs and some free stuff too along with it. The latest is its Infinis which is in the range of its LED HDTV and then the 3D capable Blu ray player BX580. For all buyers of the LX6500 or the LX9500-series HDTV and the 3D Blu-ray player, LG is also giving out the 3D active shutter glasses which is necessary for viewing the 3D format. They are also offering $100 rebate as also a coupon to view Under the Sea IMAX 3D movie for free. All so as to encourage buyers to pick up their 3D TVs.
Prices for the 3D TV have not yet been announced. This in spite of the company already having announced what’s going to come bundled with the 3D TVs. The sets are expected to start selling from this month itself. According to Amazon, price of the Blu-ray player would be $400 once it reaches stores.
The LX9500 is the frontline product and comes with 480 Hz panels along with LED backlights, local dimming and a certification from THX. The LX6500, on the other hand, has 240 Hz panels. We get the sets in both 55 and 47 inch screen sizes. We also get access to LG’s Internet packages like the Vudu, Netflix and Youtube video. Skype video chat and Picas Photos are also possible though to make the best of these features, one will need to have a camera installed.
