LG Electronics Inc., Korea is a well established and famed consumer appliances manufacturer for the world market. Their 3D TV sets have now been awarded the Plus-X Award from Germany.

The particular sets that have been awarded this prestigious award are the 55LM960V, 55860V and 55LM760S Cinema 3D Smart TV models. The category under which the sets were nominated is the home entertainment and video category.

The 3D TVs were accorded the honor on the back of the high degree of design and convenience of use and the fact that the sets are all eco-friendly. The jury felt that the overall innovative factors that went into making the set are also noteworthy.

For one, the sets all have thin bezel which gives quite a theater like display of the images.

The awards have been telecast live all over Germany and many places in Europe too. This would naturally make a solid influence on the buyer’s opinion and preference.

This award has been set up nine years ago and covers technology, lifestyle and sports. The jury which decides the winners is formed of leading experts in the industry.
