LG has come up with the largest 3D TV screen incorporating the backlit LED technology.

The screen measures a mammoth 72 inches and the model name representing the screen dimension is LG 72LEX9. The set boasts of 480 Hz TruMotion and a 10,000,000:1 contrast ratio for specifications. It is also a web TV enabled set.

The set also has on board 4 HDMI ports as well as one USB port. These ports allow for the connectivity of this 3D TV with the outside world. The price is also expected to be as large as the screen but that has not yet been released for the simple reason that the set itself has not been released world wide as yet. It has only been launched in the South Korean market.

The price is estimated to be around the range of five thousand when it is launched globally in 2011.
