3D TV Channels from Sky

While 3D TV sets are climbing the ladder of popularity there has been a trend in its price going down the ladder. One of these low cost 3D TV is being offered by UK’s own Sky channel.

By the end of October Sky is expected to launch a new 3D channel and Samsung have their LE40C750 up for sale at £846. For this price we even get the delivery carried out, along with a pair of 3D glasses and a HDMI cable.

The 3D channel that Sky is planning to broadcast would be different both in content and quality from other similar channels.

Viewers having the HD pack are able to upgrade to the 3D channel viewing group while those with 3D ready TV would be able to view the 3D programs form Sky. Streaming of the program is expected to commence this autumn. There is a need however for activation of the Sky HD set top box for viewing the 3D format signals.

As for the Samsung LE40C750 3D TV, it will come with features like full HD and freeview HD as well as wireless connectivity along with input ports for HDMI,  SCART, D-Sub and Composite. The 3D TV from Samsung is indeed feature rich. It even has PVR capabilities with the help of USB slots and CI slot to cater for contents from iPlayer, Youtube and Lovefilm. In addition the TV has a 40 inch screen which makes for great viewing.

The set also has 2D to 3D convertor and works fine for conversion of SD content and games conversion also.
