CEA, ESPN join hands with retailers to promote 3D TV

The consumer electronics company would have been the wiser if they had joined hands and efforts in many areas of new technology that is making its way in the market.
In the case of 3D video marketing and its technology though this is not the case as all companies involved have been working in tandem on this feature.
Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) working along with the electronics dealers all over the country is going to showcase 3D video to consumers by participating in a show that lasted from Sept 10th till the 12th of Sept. Best Buy, CompUSA, Fry’s Home Electronics, Sam’s Club, Sears to name a few are the retailers who took part in this show.
The event named “National 3D Demo Days,” featured all the technology that has gone into 3D making as on date.
Research carried out by CEA amongst 3D viewers indicates that about 80 percent of the viewers rate their experience as excellent.
Events that has been telecasted during the show are the Ohio State vs. Miami football game on Saturday at 3:40 p.m. EST which was beamed by ESPN working with AT&T Comcast and DirectTV. The recently concluded World Cup and Boise State-Virginia Tech football game, as well as some X-Games action were also shown to viewers during the show timings.
DirectTV is also giving coverage of the U.S. Open championship during the week end in association with Panasonic on its n3D channel.
