Cable operators in the US are facing immense public pressure to move towards 3D TV services even without any recorded or procedural study of the actual market scenario. The pressure is being applied on them by the Telco TV and satellite video rivalry. The dilemma that faces the TV operators is that they are not yet sure which is the 3D technology that would stick and remain in future. This is what a report rendered by a Heavy Reading Cable Industry Insider points out.

The report is twenty pages by length and details about fourteen suppliers of 3D TV products who would play a major role in shaping the future of 3D TV. The strategies and technology that the MSO are venturing into and using for their 3D TV products though yet at its nascent stages has been compared in this report. The report also includes those companies who have exhibited their 3D TV products during the Cable Show held in Los Angeles in the month of May 2010.
