Top officials from UAE report the launch of 3D LED TVs from BenQ. The sets are of high standards in line with the reputation that BenQ commands in the field of digital lifestyle innovativeness.

The models launched are part of the L Series and are numbered L47-6010 and L55-6010. Manish Bakshi, the director of BenQ in the Middle East region and Africa claims the set would render high quality 3D.

BenQ sets are based on the Senseye technology which tries to deliver 3D images as close in color and quality as that visualized by the human eye in real life.

In his words, “The UAE is one of our key target markets and we aim to further increase our TV presence by the end of 2012. We are also targeting to be among the top five LED brands by the end of 2013 and the launch of our new 3D LED TVs will spur the growth of this segment in the UAE. BenQ is constantly investing in R&D to develop products that are innovative and offer optimum value-for-money. BenQ 3D LED TVs’ upgraded conversion allows converting any 2D content to 3D in real time through its passive glasses.”

The sets are based on passive technology and the viewing glasses which are much lighter compared to the ones required in active 3D technology based TV sets, offer better viewing angle along with greater depth and picture quality. The images rendered are mesmerizing to say the least which can be attributed to the 1920 x 1080 pixel high definition display.

For viewing movies, photos and music from external media there is a USB multimedia port incorporated in the set. Other multimedia equipment of HDMI ability can also be connected to the set via the interface provided.
