A split screen 3D TV from Sony in the works

A split screen and viewing two different programs in each that too in 3D format is soon going to be possible on the TV. Sony has registered for patents in this innovative technology that would allow such a viewing option.
The latest development from this leading company in television sector should take 3D viewing into its next level.
The technology would permit for two different viewers simultaneously using the same TV screen to view their personal choice of programs and all that in 3D.
The comment received on the how the technology works indicates that an image from a first video signal corresponding to a left perspective of a scene and an image from a second video signal corresponding to a right perspective of the scene are alternately displayed with the display.
There would however be the need for the viewers to wear special shutter glasses and also individual headphones in order to view the separate pictures and programs.
Stuff TV’s Fraser MacDonald had predicted the arrival of just such a 3D TV for future broadcasts.
There is also the Sony XDCAMEX from the same giants in digital technology which has been claimed by the cameraman Assan Saine as the most popular camcorders that would be available to videographers. This he mentioned to the Producer magazine.
