3D TV gaining acceptance in the UK

3D TV sets are now being seen entering homes in the UK at a pace faster than ever before. The latest 3D TVs available in the market include LW450U, LW550T and LW650T series TVs with the LG 2011 set having not only 3D TV variants but in addition they are also Smart TV sets.
The LW 450U Cinema 3D TV model comes in dimension of 32″, 42″, 47″ or 55″ with additional features like full HD, 2D to 3D conversion, LED plus with Spot Control, TruMotion 100Hz, DivX HD Plus and Wireless AV Link. There is also the LW550T model that comes in 42″, 47″ and 55″ and which also have the same features in it. Some other features that are worth mentioning as incorporated in these sets are an integrated Freeview HD, Smart TV and Magic Motion remote-enabled technologies.

In case of Plasma TV sets, LG has its range of PZ570T and PZ950T models coming in 50″ and 60″ dimension. This model has feature of 2D to 3D conversion, 600Hz sub-field driving and Freeview HD. The devices are THX ratified and deliver 2D as also 3D content in full HD 1080p resolutions. These models also have features like DivX HD Plus and Smart TV for both and the inclusion of a Magic Motion remote with the PZ950T incorporated in them. One pair of Active 3D glasses comes along with set.
Discount of up to £400 is extended for subscribers of Sky TV in UK. This discount is applicable till 7th June 2011 and for the LG Cinema 3D TV model. One gets seven pair of viewing glasses with the set and extra pairs comes at costs as low as £2 apiece. The glasses do not have any need of batteries for its usage as they are the polarized glasses. The set is expected to be available at retailers by mid of this month.
