3D Channel Gets Underway in the Middle-East

YahLive is a satellite service provider that broadcast from Abhu Dhabi in partnership with YahSat and SES provides . It also provides its services for Middle East and North Africa via the 52.5 degrees East slot. The service provider has now added 3D broadcast as well to its bouquet of program being telecast.

Another service provider — High TV 3D is also adding their 3D content with YahLive telecasts. High TV 3D was founded in 2010 and is providing its services in Los Angeles and Hong Kong.

During the first year, High 3D TV has promised to come up with about 400 hours of 3D content. It has also indicated plans to include newer content with each passing year and be able to showcase 500 hours of 3D each successive year. They are also in discussion with other pay-TV satellite, Cable, IPTV, OTT service providers for either usage of their services or their content.

CEO of YahLive, Mohamed Youssif, while speaking about the partnership said: “The revolution in TV entertainment technology combined with the amazing price drops, has driven consumers to acquire 3D smart TVs at a phenomenal rate. Now millions of viewers in the Middle East and North Africa will be able to enjoy High TV 3D, only on YahLive.”
