Whales are the central subject of the movie ‘Dolphins & Whales’ by Jean-Michel Cousteau. The movie has been made in Blu-ray 3D and apart from the entertainment aspect of it, the movies should also serve to create awareness on the fact that whales are near extinction.

Daryl Hannah is the commentator of the film which has been shot in the Bahamas and its awe inspiring reefs right up to the Kingdom of Tonga tracing the whales in their habitat. The view in 3D is indeed stunning given the beauty of the natural habitat of the whales. One also gets to see the dolphins and the belugas coming into close contact with the whales in the movie.

This movie is part of a trilogy by the same maker of the film.
