3D Film On Jerusalem Set For IMAX Release on September 30
The Holy Land that we know of as the city of Jerusalem will soon have a 3D film centered around it. The city is unique in the history of mankind in that it is the one place that the three Abrahamic religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam consider as their own. Needless to say, the region has been the scene of many a bloody campaigns during the 5000 years of its existence with each section trying to make it their own. Interestingly, the film will feature three teenagers from each of the community who belong to the city.
Some of the most famous landmarks will be depicted in the film, which includes the Western Wall, the Dome of the Rock, the Jordan River, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Sea of Galilee and the mountain fortress of Masada. The film will also explore other little known areas of the city too. What will make the film all the more interesting is that it will try to portray the entire thing that the city has been up to from the angles of science, history and religion to provide for a never before insight of the region. That the entire film will be shot in 3D format will no doubt add further appeal to the film.
Meanwhile, British actor Benedict Cumberbatch will be lending his voice for the narration in the documentary style film spanning 43 minutes. The film will release at IMAX and digital 3D cinema on 30th September.
